Weymouth Granite. Bluestone hearth and mantel. This fireplace was built in 2000 in Norwell MM. The fire box is fitted with a makeup air kit to ensure a strong draft. Air is piped in from outside to the ash dump below the fire in order to supply it with fresh oxygen.

This home in Marion was leaking in multiple areas. We found the problems, consulted the owners and stopped the leaks. In this case pointing and waterproofing was the cure.
